Rodeo Rapid City Visiting Royalty

We have been very fortunate to host on average about twenty state rodeo queen title holders from across the United States at Rodeo Rapid City each year!  It is a pleasure to be one of the first stops in these new title holders’ expedition, traveling the country representing their respective states in the rodeo and western industry!  What an honor it is to be on their bucket list of “must see events” for their touring year!

Once the girls arrive at Rodeo Rapid City their week is filled with a whole lot of rodeo action, guest appearances, autograph signings, a high energy style show and array of local site seeing excursions!  We strive to give these impressive young ladies a refreshing rodeo event experience but also take time for them to experience the beautiful Black Hills and distinct sites that Rapid City and the region have to offer!  For many of the girls this is their first-time visiting South Dakota or Rodeo Rapid City and we love to hear their feedback on how much they enjoy the event and how it kicked off their year with an exciting bang!  One consistent trip highlight has been a private Crazy Horse Memorial tour to the top of the Monument hosted by the generous and long-time friends of Sutton Rodeo, the Ziolkowski family.

In addition to the vast array of state queens that attend the event each year we also host approximately an additional twenty local title holders from across the state of South Dakota, and into North Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska and Wyoming throughout the course of the nine-day show.
