MISS RODEO AMERICA
Jordan Tierney was crowed Miss Rodeo America 2020 on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019 at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas. The 25-year-old from Oral, South Dakota is the daughter of PRCA World Champion and Hall of Famer Paul Tierney, and his wife Robin.
Jordan graduated from Chadron State College with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration, and a minor in marketing. Prior to being selected Miss Rodeo America, she represented the Mount Rushmore state as Miss Rodeo South Dakota 2019.
During her reign as the official representative of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, Tierney will travel around 100,000 miles and appear at nearly 100 rodeo performances, as well as making appearances at schools, civic groups and other special events in order to educate the public and create awareness about the sport of rodeo, its sponsors and the Western way of life.
Because of cancellations due to COVID-19, Tierney will continue in the role of Miss Rodeo America until December 2021.
